Founded on a simple idea that great design shouldn’t be handed off between disconnected teams. From the first sketch to the final walkthrough, one team carries the vision. Founded
Founded in 2015 as OCD — Office for Contemporary Design — laying the early groundwork for a studio built on considered, contemporary architecture.
REBORN
A shift in leadership marking a turning point for the studio. With it came a new name and identity: AtelierD35, reflecting a sharper, more focused creative direction going forward.
GOING DIGITAL
The onset of COVID-19 reshaped how the studio operated, accelerating a shift toward cloud-based workflows and digital collaboration tools, and making digital connectivity a lasting priority rather than a temporary adjustment.
VENTURING INTO AI
The studio began integrating AI and decentralized network technologies into its design approach, expanding creative capability while exploring new models of collaboration and workflow beyond traditional, centralized tools.
Continued Growth
A pivot toward agentic networks and automation reshaped how the studio designs, embedding intelligent, self-directed systems into everyday workflows and setting the foundation for a more autonomous design process going forward.
